The two teams then traded blows for the final eight minutes, with Neligh-Oakdale holding on for the win. The Warriors were led by the fantastic freshmen, Trinity Kurpgeweit and Paige Furstenau. O-C charged out of the gates with a 16-point first quarter, but they were unable to sustain their scoring as Neligh-Oakdale charged back. However, as the clock wound down, Hoke hit his free throws to put O-C up 35-30. Cole Belitz took the ball down for a late three, but it was too late for Neligh-Oakdale.
